Clunck!!!!!!
Okay i hear a funnie noise when i put my car into gear. From park to reverse my trans makes a noise that sounds like "clunk". My car drives fine and there are no problems but the sound bothers me. Could this be my shift link ( i am hoping). If its my shift link then i am not as worried i just hope my gears in my trans are okay............anyone else had this problem?

could be an aging bushing somewhere up front.. exactly what bushing I am not sure. You might find (if it is a bushing) that the clunk is weaker when you hold the brake down more stiffly..

it's not the bushing. i know what you're talking about and i have that noise too. It's when you shift from park to reverse that makes that sound. i don't think it makes a sound from reverse to drive, but i may be wrong. i think this is normal. why is it so loud? i have no idea. the sound for me seems to be coming from the front right for some reason, but then again we always thing a sound is coming from somewhere but it's actually somewhere else. i think it's the transmission. shouldn't be a problem......::knock on wood::

I think all Honda and Acura trans. do that. I Drive an auto Prelude and it does it just the same as my TL. My friends auto Accord does it also.
Have you guys ever heard it when your backing up letting it idle back. Then when you hit the gas, it sounds.
