Another bad manufacturing quality with the CLS...:(

Yeah, one more thing broke off in my CLS...

This time it is the turn of Brdige-like metal that holds the torson-bars of the trunk in place ( below the third brake light and above the NAV unit) . This thing just snapped off by itself. :'(

I just noticed a "clunck, clunck", I checked in the trunk and found that this metal bridge is broken. Why broken, because it is welded by on 2 "1-mm "wellding points

I can't understand how a 2 "1 mm" welding points can hold the weight and torson-bars in place

Talk about saving cost by Acura.

Now, I have to schedule another "warrantee work" service with Synnuside Acura. Yeah, they are supposed to fix the dashboard rattles too... :o

I do not have a scanner to scan the HELMS manual...

But it is the metal bridge that holds "clip" ( Id 12) pictured below:

I am really having a rough ride with those guys at Sunnyside Acura

I called and described what is the problem, got the rep to schedule a drop off for next Monday.

3 minutes later, I got a call from the same guy:" Sorry, the scheduled service is ON HOLD, the General Manager (JOE MITCHELL) wants to talk to you about the scheduled service.... Till then the scheduled service is ON HOLD":o

I think the GM wants to tell me again..." Please go away..."

The last time I checked with Acura, Acura said: "Sunnyside CANNOT refuse warrentee service work, Period..

Moreover, the GM himself offered to re-fix the dashboard rattles.

So, it look like this gona be a lot of mess...

:(

I just gave up on complaining about this crap anymore I remmembered that mine 'busted loose' about 8 or 9 months ago (shit I can't even remmember anymore). The dealership basically 'bolted' the crap back in, but I was tired of bitching (yeah stupid sucker ass me) so I got it fixed and on my merry (or unmerry, depending on how you look at it) way.

Still haven't gotten my car back for the second transmission replacement, and i'm starting to get a little agitated in the Enterprise rental that i've been in for the past 4 weeks.

(Hmm wonder if we can do a search and see if that old post of mine regarding this stuff is still online).

Finally, Sunnyside backed off and calmed down... I have now a scheduled drop off ( no loaner, but a courtesy ride from Sunnyside to work ) for May 16th at 8:30 AM.

Hopefully, it will get better...

Nashua - What was the beef with 'scheduled service', and why they wouldn't fix the car? It doesn't have anything to do with the whole 100 mile test drive in your car, does it???

Yep, it does have everything to do with that "bad experience". Sunnyside Acura "claims" that they are failing to make me a satsified customer.... I was not satisfied because of no fault of mine but theirs.. I have never asked back any compensation... All what I did is giving a customer feedback....

Anyways, I hope that it goes better this.
