Check You Heating Element

Hello,

Not to sound like a "know-it-all", but you might want to check your heating element. I don't know where there locates on the TL, but on one of my cars (Beretta GT---yes don't laugh) in the past it was under the dash next to the firewall. When it went bad, it leaking water and coolant down into the carpet. I looked for days and couldn't figure it out. IT SMELLED BAD! What happens is that it will leak, seaping fluid down onto the floor boards of your car. Depending on where one is located, they are fairly easy to change. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
