CD Changer Installation Help

Does anyone have or know where I can get CD changer installation instructions for a 98 TL 2.5? I was thinking about purchasing a Alpine CHA S634 changer and want to know how easy it will be to put in. Thanks!

its real easy, if its the same as a simple cd deck then you dont have much work to do, but if you have anything in the rear to do(amps, speakers)...good luck! because our TL has just too much extra, eg. taking off the seats to put in 6x9, thats just ridiculous.

You may want to get wiring diagram for the harness..but really I dont know much about changer..im assuming u need fm modulator? sorry couldnt be much help, jus thought id put my

please give a little more detail.. do you plan on hooking up this changer to the factory HU??? do you already have an aftermarket unit... the rear seats are really easy to remove if you have to run cable... otherwise just use a wire hanger... i have pics of the rear seats removed... let me know what kind of setup you are looking at...

oh yeah, welcome to the boards...

I have the original head unit still in the car and I want to be able to control the changer through that. I don't want to have an FM modulator. The guy at the dealer said that the hookups were in the trunk, but I can't find them. I'm also not sure where to install the changer in the trunk without cutting some of the trunk cover area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just got my TL 3 weeks ago and love it.

the back of the HU has a spot to plug in a changer.. but from what i know, the cables are not already wired... you need to run them urself...
