A complete part listing on the parts in the carputer would be awesome. It is something I have thought about doing before but havent made a sure decision. Where is the final price coming in at?
And the ground kit, do you have a list of where all your wires are? And lengths if possible. Another something I want to get going on.

Where did you get the Rikaline 6010. I'm looking into building one for myself and it seems like a good reciever to go with, but I am having trouble finding it for sale anywhere.
I really want it for GPS/OBD reading/logging/display. I'm not too worried about audio/video from it, I've got a new HU for that, maybe, unless I sell it.
I don't know yet, but it looks like I'm looking at just shy of $900 in total costs. What did yours come out to?
Also, what are you using for a PS?
And longeyes, its like taking a desktop and putting it into your car, but a bit cooler/more involved. You can use it for GPS, OBDII interfacing, audio, video, or even controlling things like the power locks/windows if you go that far.

yeah i searched around and rikaline is one of the tops... i actually got it off amazon as a package with the msstreets05... 60 bucks with ship,,,
i didn't trust the gps mouse that was bundled with ms streets for 100 bucks..
and i know when the software gets outdated, i can reuse the mouse for any other mapping software, delorme etc... i just wish it had voice...
