Anybody having this problem?

My Acura 2.5TL 1996 sometimes "shakes" between 85 and 110 KM/h. I have 190000 km on odometer.

A mechanic told me it could be the transmission.

Can passangers feel it? Can only you feel it through the steering wheel? It could rims that are bent/off balance too.

 

Yes the passenger can feel it when it happens but it isn't on the steering. It's not the rims because they have been balanced and they are OK.

It does not do it every time I drive it but when it does every passenger feels it.

Bad differential? Checked its fluid?

What RPM's does this occur? it could be you need a transmission flush.

 

For the RPM, it must be around 2700 to 3000. It begins when I get around 80-85 KM/h up to 105-110.

 

i noticed my car has a shake at about 2250-2500 rpm not all the time but like if i'm going uphill it shakes a little. the engine..

 

I noticed a shake at different ranges. One at around 1400 rpm, another at 2000rpm, and another one at 2500 rpm. I think it is the body mounts because when I step on it while in park, I can feel the same shakes.
