Cabin filter?

Cabin filter?
I have a 1998 Acura TL 3.2L. There is a horrible smell coming from the vents when I turn the AC on. I figure its the cabin filter but I dont know if the 1998 even has one. I cant find anything on if there is a cabin filter and if so where its at and how to change it. Can anyone help with this?
