Brake Light stays on

If it's a very very cold morning, after I start up the car and warm it up for about 10 minutes, after I would release the parking brake but the light will stay on. After about few miles of stop and go drive, the light will go off.

It only happenes in the winter time on a cold morning.

I checked the brake fluid and they are at the Max level.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

You might be low on brake fluid. Check it out. Fill it up to "max" level. 90% of the time it is the reason. Or your sensor is getting stuck.

Brake fluid levels should be checked periodically.

Your e-brake cable is sticking because it's being pulled too tight. Which in turn is because your rear brakes might be getting a little thin.

The brake light has nothing to do with brake fluid levels. It's only connected to the cable.

No, it's not only connected to the parking brake cable. It's also monitors the brake fluid level. If you don't believe me, go to your brake fluid resovoir and take the cap off, once you do that, the brake light in the instrument cluster will turn on, indicating that the brake level is low.

meazz1, IMO, I think it's a sticking parking brake cable. Try lubing it up and see if it is better.
