Body Kit
Body Kit
i got a question... If i was to get a body kit molded into my 2.5TL what car should i buy tha kit from? In other words which other car has pretty much the same dimencions as a 1996 2.5 as far as width and length of tha side skirt. I've decided to put a body kit on tha TL. Something sporty but not ricey but something that will make my TL stand out.
why dont you try the inpiremotorsports bodykit, that thing is made for out 2.5's and youd be supporting one of our members. that kit is baddass. I would get it, too bad I dont drive the car anymore, the wife does. I might end up getting the grill and the eyelids though, they look nice as well. Trust me if you want your ride to stand out, thats the kit to go.

thanks ela.tl..
wassup toocoo..
weren't you thinking of mix and matching the kit for your car? to my knowledge, there really isnt anything close in dimensions to our cars. accord sideskirts can be modified, but they are too short.. if you are planning to do a custom kit, i hope you have knowledge or hookups to pull it off.. otherwise, you might end up paying way too much on a custom kit.. just make sure whoever works on the custom kit doesn't use globs of bondo (bodyfiller)... trust me, if they do, you will regret it.. bondo tends to crack if you add too much to any material... the kit might come out looking nice, but in a year or sooner, you might find cracks forming and there goes the paint job also.. the most reliable way is to fiberglass the custom kit... fiberglass is your best option if you want a custom kit.. one thing that suxs is that they are not that durable.. on the other hand, with polyurethane, you wouldnt have to worry too much about it ever cracking if you hit a dip or something... good luck on whatever you decide to do

I work wit ATS Motorsports on 1960 and we exclusively use Auto Toyz Kustoms in tomball for all our body kit installs...these guys are the best in town when it comes to custom kits. They do all our cosmetic install work so thats who i trust wit my stuff.
