Barcode on part on steering column

Barcode on part on steering column

If I rotate my steering wheel, 180°, just below where the steering wheel would normally cover up there is a black module of some type that has a barcode on it. I have no idea what this is for. Has anybody ever seen or experiences? This is while the car is fully assembled. Here is an image to show you what mine looks like:

Try typing your vin into dreamshop.acura.com? Then find the part by diagram and it's name should explain the purpose.

I vaguely remember seeing it in my RSX too, the font on that sticker seems to be stuck in my memory. I'm sure you can figure it out with dreamshop though.
