Bad Starting
Ok so my car has been giving me troubles starting.. When its cold it doesn't want to start until you crank it over for a minute or two, then it will start and run rough for a second then smooth out... When it's warm it will start up and just run rough for a second then smooth out.... I have checked everything. Compression is 170 on all 5, EGR is cleaned out, new spark plug wires, cleaned out distributor cap, resealed valve cover, plugs are new but shitty bosch, changed fuel pressure regulator, new fuel filter. I am running out of ideas, if anyone has had this problem pleaaaaaaassssseeeee HELP... thanks

meazz1 did you read the post, I think I have narrowed it down to the coil not having a strong enough spark to ignite the fuel... Will find out when my new coil will be in n the morning..

This car is pissing me offffff.... I ended up not replacing the coil since the new one was reading close to the same ohm's... but I did buy new plugs to get rid of the bosch ones... So I thought the problem went away as it started up fine most of the day, but nooooo 3 hours after parking it, it was back to having troubles starting... It seems like if I hold the pedal to the floor to shut off the injectors before I start it. It starts a lot easier than just cranking it over... Is there anyone out there that has had this problem please help....

Three Wheelin'
Well I would suggest for you to change the distributor cap, not just cleaning it. There may be a hairline crack on it causing starting problems. Also, clean your throttle body and IACV while you are at it.

I am now thinking head gasket, today it started to over heat when driving "not sitting still." The fan works fine I topped off the coolant the other day and fixed the fan and bled the system till the fan kicked on.... now the coolant is really low there is no leaks at all, also when I was bleeding the system I noticed tiny bubbles coming out the radiator. I don't know though I have talked to many mechanics and they are all baffled, It doesn't want to start but when it's running it runs excellent, hell the damn thing spun the tires last night when t shifted into second..... things that make you go hmmmmm....
