Question Auto Tranny Shift Kits & vavle body converters ?

This seems like a real good idea.

My wifes brother had the same car as us and he was in my car last night and i was showing him the intake exhaust and my stereo and he was telling me that he put a shift kit in it that made it shift faster and better like a manual... that really interested me cuz it would cost way to much to convert to a manaul i would love to do but i really have no clue how.

well has anyone herd of this.

Honda's automatic transmissions are built differently too, this won't work.

You're better off swapping in a manual.

^ Not to mention the work of cutting and welding the firewall. The wheel hump blocks half of the area needed to mount the clutch pedal. That's why I didn't swap to manual when I had the motor and tranny out, and when I had changed the tranny and diff.

~Cheers~

P.S. Not to mention the search for an ECU/rewiring to OBDI which then I can't BAR the car.

It's a piece of crap that tricks the computer into thinking you're pressing harder on the gas pedal than you really are. It throws off the A/F ratio, too.

~Cheers~

P.S. There is an electronic throttle controller from Blitz, but that's only useful for drive-by-wire cars.

Drive by wire is the same thing.

No cable connecting the pedal to the throttle, instead its all computer controlled.

The NSX was one of the first cars to have this.
