audio problem help!!
my amp wont turn on and i think it might be because of a bad ground, heres what happened:
i put a cd and turned it up to 20 on my stereo (high) and as soon as the first beat hit, my music shut off- i restarted my car and it was fine.
a day later i was driving and again, my music shut off, but after a restart came back on.
the next day my music shut off, but i didnt notice until i had stopped, restarted car and it still didnt work, however when i turned my stereo on the blue power led lit up on the amp for about 2 seconds then faded off
now when i turn on the power, the led does not light up at all, not even flicker
i need to know where you guys with systems have your amps grounded and also if anyone has any other ideas, let me know, please, i need my music and i just got sirius for xmas and cant enjoy it yet
hellpppp

the channels are dead. i had a problem with my visonik amp..the subwoofer made a loud sound but the sub was fine..the amp on the other hand stop working. you didnt talk about any fuse was there a fuse?
thanks for the help guys i really appreciate. i checked everything and it looked fine. i finall took out the inline fuse on the power cord and the glass on the fuse had separated from the metal endcap and it was really odd, so the fuse hadnt blown, but it was disconnected, i got a new fuse and it works. i also installed a custom aux in port, sirius radio, and my mio gps system. ill show u pics if u want,

The best place to ground is usually right onto the floor pan. i have 3 amps and a capacitor. i grounded my capacitor near the seat belt bolts, but i created my own ground (drilled a new hole). make sure to scratch off any paint, to expose bare metal.
