anyone ever have this problem?

When I turn the key the engine doesn't turn over. I have full power in the on position but when I turn the key to start it up...I hear a flickering noise and the lights flutter.

I tried to jump start it...
I checked the fuses...
I had the starter replaced a few months ago..

It just feels like there no power going to the starter..

Thanks!

There is a =known to Acura= issue with some 99s and others
Bad ignition switch- easy to replace - not too$ if they wont comp the part

register your car at www.acura.com with VIN number make a free account
Thats Acuras master waranty/recall/service issues computer and knows much about your car

CAll Acura at 1- 800- 382-2238 X 5 6a-5p pacific time
give them vin and ask about possible ignition switch warranty extension
Its a different computer and may know different things

if its flickering the engine light and making a rapid sound its the main relay. How many more times do i have to say it. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STARTER!!!!

Its either the main relay, or its the ground on the thermostat housing for the main engine harness.

Either will cause those sorts of problems. If you check the battery terminals and they are fine, then the relay is your issue.

If its a battery issue more times then never the car wont crank any sort of power even when you key it on. Id say its the relay. My car is a 98 and ive replaced it 2 times already. Its a shitty designed part.

Its not the starter

Its not the starter

Did i mention...

Its not the starter? Because i just wanted to let you know its not the starter.

I had the same problem last summer and it was just one of the wires on the battery terminal that wasn't fully connected. I connected it firmly and the problem was gone.
