Any1 raced there TL
I used to race my car back in the days 1997-1999.. The times are from Pomona Raceway in California.
1. bone stock I ran mid 16s 1/4 mile (16.4-16.7)
2. ran it again with a custom short ram intake w/ WeaponR filter.. low 16s..(16.2-16.5)
3. ran it with intake(WeaponR) and rear half pipe 2.5 inch with a universal exhaust(Sebring).. ran high 15s (15.8-15.9)
4. ran custom cold-air intake w/ MonsterFlow filter with full cat back exhaust (Trust/Greddy SP)... low 15s (15.2-15.4)
5. ran custom cold-air intake (MonsterFlow), full cat-back exhaust (Trust/Greddy SP) and a racing cat(some cheap one 2.5 inch straight through).. ran high 14s (14.7-14.9)
6. ran custom cold-air intake, full cat-back exhaust, a racing cat, a single fogger NOS dry kit with 50 and sometimes 70 shot jets, and a NOS purge kit.. best run I ran 13.8@99.xxMPH on street slicks (street legal slick tires) and low to mid 14s on stock 15 inch tires (14.2-14.4)
It's been a long time since I used to race so I don't have any timeslips anymore, but here are some photos. I also need to scan some old pixs from the racetrack.. I'll post more pixs and hopefully some timeslips if I can find them.

I have beaten a lot of VW's even my friends Jetta 1.8T. Always fun to show up some high strung 4 bangers. I also did really well racing a Corvette on a freeway onramp. Lost him after overdrive kicked in, he smoked me.

Only the 6 speed manual GS can beat our 3.2 TL's for sure. The 4 speed auto GS is pretty close but will beat us past 60 mph. While our cars weigh 100 pounds less than a 4 speed Legend, the GS models have the Type II engine with 230 hp instead of 200.
As for me, I did a Type II swap
i've raced a couple... i've beat some stock integra's, civics, golfs, accords, and some bmws (3 series)
i've lost to other BMWs (7 series and M5
- thats one hell of a car with a price tag to match) also mustangs and corvettes. all these are typical muscle cars with huge engines so its kinda obvious that i would loose.
hey does anyone loose some power when they put their foot down? i do so i have to ease of the pedal and press it down again before the pickup increases....
i've got an 1996 3.2TL previous car was a 1994 BMW 5 Series

thats crazy, my car does the same thing. WOT (wide open throttle) actually feels slower than if I slowly push the pedal down, or let it shift before redline. I've got a '97 3.2. and If I remember correctly, my buddy has a '92 VIGOR and his is the same way, but thats a 5 cyl.
