yeah i wanna know what's up too. getting a new bumper put in next week and it'd be awesome if i could be the first one on the block to get the spoiler.

just the stock replacement and getting the lower air dam meshed by the shop. i milked the insurance company for a new bumper that's why i'm replacing the bumper.

I WOULD REALLY REALLY LIKE TO MESH MY GRILLE AND MY AIR DAM THING DOWN BELOW, BUT I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START, LIKE DO U USE CHICKEN WIRE STUFF? AND ALSO, HOW DO U GET IT CONNECTED TO THE GRILLE OR THE AIR DAM, THANKS A LOT IF U ARE GOOD AT SUMMING THINGS UP

Well, I didn't do the mesh for the bumper air dam, but I did the mesh for my front grill. It wouldn't take you more than an hour. The link below is from Acura-TL FAQ:

Make your own mesh grille

It's very similar, but I think the instruction is for the 2nd Gen TL. On the 1st Gen TL, there are three phillips type screws and four plastic fasteners (or however you call that), which hold the grille.

Just follow the instruction above by the link, and you'll figure it out when you do it. It's not HARD at all. Most of us in here have done that already.

Now, the bumper air dam grille is more complicated than the front grilled. I haven't done it, I tried, but not successful.
