alarm installed !

i got the compustar spread spectrum - w/ the remote start and paging feature if your car's alarm is set off
it is pimp as fuq... i recommend it. it claims to reach a mile and a half away but I doubt it does that, it does reach a long way though. I have had no problems w/ it and I got the alarm and installation for 400.. At the store that the guy works at they told me 670.
its a little overkill, but when you spend all this money on your car shouldn't you be able to know whats goin on w/ it ?

Hahahah. I used to do the same thing when I had my HID fogs with remote. When I used to look out the window and see someone close by I would turn them on. It was funny as hell. The people would look around. Then I would just turn them off. :p

i think its only a quarter of a mile, the compustar is a mile and a half - i think that the quarter of a mile one defeats the purpose of actually having the feature of it paging you because you will loose contact just by walking around in the mall or being just a little ways from your car... just my $.02

There was a group buy for that cheap alladin alarm on the nsx forum and i tried to tell people exactly that......" what good is an alarm that can only page u while u were in sight of it " .

compustar is a very good alarm possibly one of the best, im thinkin of gettin the new viper alarm that is 2 way , not to rag on the compustar but viper(DEI) seems to be buying up all the other companies and they ahve created a great name and a very good product to stand behind the name.

I have a Compustar alarm in My Lexus and its a good alarm. One day I wanted to see how far the remote would go so I parked at one end of the mall and walked about half way and try to start the car and it worked, I dunno if it was a 1.4 mile but it was pretty far.

My friend installs them for about 425$. I only paid 300$ though.

Yup. How much do you want for the headrests?

BTW, do you have the visors too? What other parts do you have? E-mail me at wordup96tl@aol.com. Thanks.
