how can i find my alarm system in my 1996 acura tl i need to remove it

The factory alarm module is located under the passenger dash. You have to lie on your back and look up behind the glove box. I actually have a pic of it from something I was working on and never finished....

 

i thought it was a PITA to get to and take out... so all i did was disconnect the unit...

 

how can i bypass my factory alarm on my 1996 acura tl 2.5 or kill switch. i tried to disconnect the alarm & the still didn't start?????????/

Hey is that from 3.2 or 2.5 because I need to remove mine since it is killing my battery...?

 

I have a 98 3.2, but it's probably the same for the 2.5 -- I think there's a yellow sticker on the side of the module that says SECURITY-something.

 

If I take out my alarm, do you guys believe it will affect my remote at all? It is pretty much for closing and opening doors right?
