I'm sure you guys know what to do whe you enter the website
but for the ones that don't know
once you open AutoAccessoryStore
Look for the Ait Intake icon and click
then click on the weapon r icon
then click on the secret weapon intake
and choose your car
you can always choose a different air intake
That's the one I liked
Thanks

if you want your intake to go all the way down your your front air dam on your bumper... you can always get one of these from weapon-r... i've been considering it...

for $52 its not bad...

The CAI was mine...the materials if you get decent piping and filter can range from like $75-150. It will be more expensive if you get a K&N cone and some good heat-resistant piping.

the only bad thing about this product or a cold long pipe intake is that if it rains the intake will suck water into ur intake into ur engine and u be all shit out of luck, i would just go with a short ram with a k&n filter....

the only way to avoid that would be to add a reservoir of some kind at the beginning of the tube to allow water to fall into it. This is part of the reason for the resonators on stock airboxes, you see the different compartmenrs, they are not all for sound, they help keep any water from gowing into the engine. The AEM bypass valve ONLY works if your intake is totally submersed, it doesn't stop the loose water from rain from going into your engine. Don't get me wrong, a LITTLE bit of water, ie when it rains is not going to KILL your engine, but any substantial amount can do devastating damage..

How noticable are the gains for the money though, going from a clean OEM filter, to some other sort of setup?

Take a sip of red bull... any noticable gain??? or drink 3 to 5 beers... are you drunk... nope... not really right... just maybe a slight buzz...

Same thing with the intake... just a slight buzz if any... the growl (sucking noise of the intake) sounds cool... but the gain is slight... it says you get 12 to 15 HP etc... but you are really getting about 3 to 5 HP... thats about it... for the price... its decent... its nothing like getting a turbo... but you do feel a "slight" diffrence... that is why i got the billet throttle rotor and fuel regulator... with that you can feel the diffrence... of course i'm talking about the 2.5... the 3.2... i think it must be the same...

I think its a fair price for what you are getting... besides, it adds a diffrent look to your engine as well...

Hey cali, I've been in touch with Spooky about this, and heres what I've found (feel free to correct me spook)

He got them directly from Leo at Weapon-R when he had his intake custom made for our cars (up for sale on their website now).

The throttle rotor was for an Integra, Leo said we have the same TB. It slips on over the stock one, sounds easy to do.

The fuel regulator and guage I don't have completely figured out yet, but he sent me some pictures of the setup. Looks a little intimidating due to being fuel, but I don't think it will be too bad.

I contacted Leo from Weapon-R and he suggested using www.rswerks.com

Yeah.. I remember that car..

He had a Integra Throttle rotor and a Honda Fuel Pressure Regulator, along with a Custom Intake system that we now make.

If you want these items you can go to www.rswerks.com

Have a nice day.

Thank you,

Leo Now

That was Leo's email if it helps any too. Ask Spooky too, he's been a great help.

Rswerks lists the rotor at $30, regulator at $75, guage at $25.
