I bet it was all set to be chrome and some bigwig Honda exec took a drive and was either:
1) Blinded by some reflection or
2) noticed it was smudged with fingerprints
So instead of changing the production line, they just painted over the existing lot of chrome ones.

^ i jus took a flathead and wrap the tip with cloth and gently pry up the shiftgate.. some said it can juss be pulled up by ur finger..so yeah.. then jus put some paint stripper depending on the directions on it.. the one i had i belive was VEry strong i had ruber gloves on when i used it n it ate away at my gloves... so becareful...

Nope.. heated seats are found ONLY in the 3.2 TL.. and even then.. not all of them
1996 / 1997 3.2 TL's with the premium package
1998 3.2 TL's, heated seats are standard.

i would give u mine , i never use it i live in florida. but u can buy them from katzkin.com but i think u have to buy the leather cover that go's with them..its cool couse u can two tone the seats, check it out.. i want the sports seats.
