Unhappy AC problems

This just keeps getting better, now I have AC problems
It does not blow any air at all... sure it could be the blower motor but then I dont even hear the compressor clutch engage/disengage when I turn the temp down to 61F.
I have checked the 7.5A fuse (interior) but are there any other fuses one can check?

If there is NO air movement, its definitely the blower motor.

thanks for your response Ken. Would you happen to know where I can find the part number for the blower motor? I have a 97 2.5TL (Pre). Already tried www.acuraautomotiveparts.org but the only blower motor I can find is "Heater Blower", is that the one?

1. Remove the evaporator (see page 22-58).

2. Remove the mounting nut from the blower unit.
NOTE: When removing the mounting nut, take care
not to damage or bend the fuel pipes, brake pipes,
etc.
8 x 1.25 mm
12 N-m (1.2 kgf-m, 8.7 Ibf-ft)

3. Disconnect the connector from the recirculation
control motor, and remove the self-tapping screw
from the pipe clamp.

4. Remove the mounting bolt, then remove the blower
unit by moving it back and toward the right.
6 x 1.0 mm
9.8 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 Ibf-ft)

5. If necessary, remove the three self-tapping screws,
the recirculation control motor and the flange collar.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal. Make note of
the following items.
Make sure that the recirculation control doors
and linkage move smoothly without binding.
After reinstalling the recirculation control motor,
make sure the recirculation control motor runs
smoothly (see page 22-52).
Make sure that there is no air leakage.

This is the best I can do with copying and pasting from the service manual. Send me a PM with your email addy and I'll send over this in PDF format. Or if you find this repair a bit too much, take it to a shop and let them do it. Good luck!!!!

thanks for the info, WolfpackBill.
Now, I was headed to pickup the blower and my AC starts working again so I turned around and it worked for the next 2 days. This morning though it quit again.

Using a multimeter, I checked the voltage on the 3 prong connector for the blower motor and it shows 0v. All fuses are OK.

I am afraid to take it to the dealership because something tells me I might have to pay them to replace the entire wiring loom and all AC components.

any idea where the blower/compressor relay is located? I did not find it on the left (driver) kick panel above fuses.

I have the same problem. It haven't been working in my car for 2-3 days now. It did this before then when i open the hood with my lil brother trying to see whats wrong, so when we drop the hood to close it, it started again. If its my broken blower motor, i would juss replaces it, but it juss sometimes starts and stops within a week. So i dont know what to do rite now, im just waiting to see if it starts up again.
