HEY-RECENT 98 TL BUYER-HAVE TO SAY THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE FIRST GENERATION THAT MAKES IT 10 TIMES BETTER THAN GEN2 3.2S... ANYWAY IM LOOKING TO PURCHASE AN INTAKE AND WAS WONDERING IF YOU GUYS HAD ANY RECOMMENDATIONS. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT WEAPON R'S "SECRET WEAPON" I HAVE HEARD GOOD REVIEWS, AND YOU CAN HOOK RAM AIR UP TO IT ALL FOR ABOUT 250.... ADVICE OR RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE! first press that button that says caps lock on it. 2nd 2.5s re not slow and handle like a dream ( i have a 3.2 myself tho) now to the q at hand... ive heard great things bout the weapon r and am planning on gettin one myself. one or 2 ppl have them for the 2.5 so u mite wanna ask them.

 

just kidding i love 2.5 tl's... and sorry bout the caps lock... my work computer @ work has to be on caps lock for the program we use---but yeah hey any acura regardless of engine size is a bad ass acura i was just saying that to rile some people up...anywho weapon r baby im buying one

 

Yeah, Weapon R makes one. Just be sure to know if you have traction control (TCS) or not. It makes a difference.

 

2.5's are slow and thats the truth. The TL is a FWD tank. It's not going to handle as well, especially with stock suspension. Maybe this is in comparison to a Honda Civic DX?

If you're handy, you can make yourself a custom intake. K&N cone filter plus the custom piping and you're done. It'll be more cost effective, unless you like the looks of the Weapon-R
