96 first gen keyfob

I have read many of the posts about getting a new keyfob and programing it.
However, I am wondering if my car even has this option .

I have a 96' tl 2.5 premium

Yes you do. It was a dealer installed option I think. It wasn't until 1998 when it became a factory option for the 2.5
