96 Acura TL 3.2 with Redio Code E

Hello, I just bought my used 96 Acura TL 3.2 last week.
Last evening, the car stereo couldn't read CD and play radio and kept displaying the Code E.
This condition happened after I forgot close the front light and used up all the battery.
I didn't meet this condition before.

Could somebody tell me their experience? Need I replace it for a new one?

Thanks a lot!

Is the radio working at all after the battery situation? You might need to enter the radio code if you haven't done so to use the radio again after disconnecting battery.

Hi, you mean the original one is totally damaged? I should replace it?

OMG, I have taken it no more than one week!

No, try a CD cleaner (the ones with a little brush on the disc).

Try unplugging the battery for a minute, then you will have to enter the code. Ask the original owner if you don't know the code.

The CD couldn't even go inside. It seems like something is blocking the disk.

You mean the code is input for the audio system? If it is needed, I should ask the former owner.

I will try your method. Thanks a lot!

^ That's what I said......see if you could find any codes inside/around your glove box or owner's manual.

Pull the coin tray up, look under the flap for the armrest, and if the code isn't there, then take off the "woodgrain" on the passenger's side and it will be behind there.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I found the code in the glove box. The former owner left lots of useful things there.
The radio sound again!

However, it is unlucky that the car CD player may breakdown and it could not play my burned disks. I should have tried the CD when I took the test drive.

Another problem comes!

After a hard braking at hwy today, I always heard the sharp squeak when braking, especially at local road.
I am not sure whether I should replace the braking pads or not.

Wish I could fix it by myself!

If you take the wheel off, then you can examine the brake pads and see if they are low or not.
