do you guys mean the bumper lights? or the corner lamps near the mainbeams? ....anyway heres a breakdown:

mainbeam: 8000k HID (osram)
corner: tried LED, didn't workout. now PIAA hyper white
bumper corner: PIAA hyperwhite
bumper blinker: PIAA hyperwhite
interior: polarg ****white (can't remember)
tail: all back end lights stock.

aisankidd: the HID are Osram. bought from autolites.net, they come w/ everything required for installation. they come with all connectors installed. the ballasts plug right into the existing H4 connector. installation can be done in about 1/2 hour.

98tTL.....i will be at the track this weekend. Hawaii's fastest rice car shootout will be held. most likely i will be there on sat. night.

FACT: Osram do not make 8000k. Autolite.net used the osram's 4xxxk bulbs to covert into 8000k. Only OEM that is higher than 4xxxk is Philips' Ultinons. AsianKidd if you want quality HID kit, go with autolamps-online.com. You'll be happy...

interesting.....how did you come about this info? my lights are not OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture)....so does that mean that 6000k's are bogus too?

i don't know who exactly makes the bulbs....but the ballasts say osram underneath...along with the wattage info..

welcome to the board

cool....i'll check it out sometime.

a quoted response from jonathan schantz of autolites.net:

" We do not sell a Osram 8000k HID bulb, only the ballast is made by Osram, there are people who advertise a Osram bulb other than 4300k or 5500k and that is VERY false advertising. The bulb is made by Venture lighting. We do not sell these as Osram bulbs. Plus It would be impossible to "convert" any HID bulb to another Kelvin other than the original Kelvin. Just tell them to do a little research before commenting! Venture Lighting makes allot of the bulbs Osram sells as Osram brand.

If anyone is skeptical I have data test sheets from Venture lighting showing all the specs.

Regards,

Jonathan Schantz

Can somebody post a comparison pic of a 6000K and a 8000K HID light so I can see the difference?
