3.2 to 2.5 Front End Conversion

Alright, so I have an extra 2.5 complete front end laying around and noticed someone selling a 3.2 with front end damage, hood pushed up and cracked bumper and what not. How different are the front ends?

The 2.5 bumper will fit, not perfectly but it'll fit.

Not sure. I believe the hood is virtually the same if not the same.

well it's not the same, because the 3.2 hood has the grille built in, and the 2.5 hood and grille are separate.

Interesting. Didn't know that.

The bumper itself does swap though, I've seen a couple 2.5 bumpers on 3.2's in person.

The bumper will only swap over with the 3.2 reinforcement bar in your case. The 3.2 front end is slightly wider and is built differently too so I doubt the hood will fit/lock down on the latch properly.

Most people go the other way around since 3.2 bumper > 2.5 chinless wonder.

~Cheers~
