202 hp at the wheels!

Well, I've done it again. Completed the entire Type II swap (I still had a Type I, aka stock manifold). Put a Type II manifold and coated it in teflon. Then put it on a dynojet (i've found it more accurate than a dynapack).

202 hp at the wheels! I'm going to test it again next weekend if I have a chance, it could be a fluke and I want to make sure. But my previous run was 191 hp. Not bad considering that auto transmission is sucking up some serious torque.

If anyone has questions/comments, post away.

PS: I'm saving up a "kidney fund" for a 6 speed manual swap, that should have some sick results!

Edit: Stupid me, forgot the peak torque was 197 foot pounds

Best guesstimate is that the engine is about 250 hp or so right now (at the flywheel) Crazy stuff!

Hehe, I have questions.

Like where do you find all of these parts? There's a rarity of Legend GS's in the junkyard for me. Your work is seriously intriguing. I would say you're the 1st Gen's equivalent of DV8 on the Legend forums.

Good work!

I have a few connections. Up in Portland there is an exclusively Acura/Honda junkyard On top of that I know some Honda mechanics, they point me in the right direction or call me up about Legend parts

I scratch their back since I have them install this stuff with me.

And yeah, DV8 is amazing, I'll be glad to do HALF the stuff he has done.

I could, but it doesnt look any different on the exterior. To notice any differences, you have to take off the intake/exhaust manifolds and show the insides.

Thats for Auto Adventure, the Honda/Acura wrecking yard.

Check every few weeks, they seem to go through a lot of cars.

Ken,
Thanks for the info. You probably have the most powerful NA 3.2 here so could you break down your mods, with part numbers and street prices? I know you already do a lot here and I know I have seen you mention your mods but do not recall part numbers. We should probably sticky your mod breakdown so stupid newbies, like myself, can stop badgering you. Either way, thanks for being the first gen TL TUNER! I really appreciate your posts.

Ok, I'll get around the exact part numbers. I'll throw in whatever interior mods I did as well.
