1g TL theft prevention?

Ladies & Gents, I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I will be leaving on vacation for three weeks out of the States and have to leave the Tl parked sadly. But i'm worried about it getting broken into or stolen in the worst case scenario. The fact that fourth of july i still wont be here i have to either disarm the alarm or dissconect the battery because of all the alarm WILL go off but no one will be here to turn it off with all those loud fireworks......Phew..with that being said, What is the best way that i can prevent theft while gone? is it as simple as a steering wheel lock? or something else?. Our First gen TL's are kinda rare as iv'e seen here where i live in So.Cal and maybe everywhere. I know that legends get stolen a lot & The 1g TL would in my opinion be a prime target for thieves because of it's value in parts, not a high demand for them, but parts are kinda hard to come by in my expirience..... sorry about the thread being so long. i hope some one can answer my ?.

Thanks in advance.

Jackstands and a car cover. Take the wheels off, and leave them inside. Best bet, though, is to have someone drive it around while you're gone.

~Cheers~

Park it at a friend's house, at least there would be people in and out the house.

take out the battery and just leave valuables inside the house. If theres nothing to steal then they can't steal it.

^ Will do..as for valuables none in the car really. I would just hate to come home & there's no TL in the driveway ..Plus iv'e been checking local craigslist and i see plenty of 2.5's but a 3.2 in good condition is hard to find. & if there are any for sale their all beat and scratched up and cost 4-6k for a 14 yr. old car

Just get full coverage insurance and leave all valuables out of sight or at home.
