1997 Acura TL won't start
Okay so obviously reading on this so far you probably think I'm an idiot or new to cars or some kind of variant. The battery reads 12.05 volts. With the battery jumper I have the car starts fine. The CCA is 525... What could be wrong?

Most likely bad battery. Sometimes voltage w/o load will look OK, but go very low as soon as load is added. Remove battery or take to Autozone, et al for a battery test.

I have a 97 TL 3.2 that turns over but won't start. The car had been operating fine. 2 days ago I drove it about 40 minutes, stopped at a grocery store for 15 minutes, came out and it started. I went about 1/4 mile and it died. After cranking the hell out of it, I waited 5 minutes and it fired up. Ran fine yesterday. Now today it cranks over but won't start. Any ideas?

Jeffrey, sounds like the main relay is going out. It's a pain to get to, but the usual problem is in the solder joints. The crack over time, and you'll have an intermittent connection. If you can take it out, pop it open, and add some fresh solder to it, you'll be good for another 10+ years.

I don't know if this will help, but this happen to me a couple of times and found out one of the parts got wet or soaked and cause the car not to start until a couple days later. i totally forgot what the part is called, i remember it cost 600 and i believe its were all the spark plugs wires connect to a box that is mounted near the wall undernearth the windshed. i put silicone around the box to prevent water from going in. hope this helps a little. My mechanic also took out each spark plug one at time and try to start the car.
i know i don't sound very car savy

Burning Brakes
In 2.5 TL, the dist is known to leak oil, which is a problem I am having right now and this fix including all the caps, rotor and so on may cost in the range of $600.00.

Hmmm, maybe I was wrong, I was just trying to help. I miss the 2.5TL, one of the best cars I ever own.
