Sounds like its either an ABS issue or a vehicle speed sensor.

thanks for the replies.

I am going to take my car into the dealer this week. I believe(hope) the ABS is covered under the comprehensive warranty - which is 5yrs or 100,000km - I'm currently at 50,000km.

tech is telling me it could be an electrical problem becuase they cannot clear the codes and they have never seen the Yaw Rate Sensor go bad - it is a $1200 part!!

Hello,
my 2002 RL has the same damn problem . I replaced the angle sensor 3 times, still nothing, I took it to the dealer, they said yes tha'ts the problem but if they order the part and change it they do not guarantee it will get fixed. That was a shoker, So I ordered the part anyway to replace it myself and save $100 for replacement. By the way that angle sensor is a tiny round part about 3 inches diameter and costs $360. Any way, I guess I wanted to check and see if there's hope before I get the part and replace it.. What is the status on your car. Thanks good luck

I have no new news on this with my car. I have learned to live with it although it is not a good feeling when this goes off in traffic. The dealer never mentioned the angle sensor to me just the VSA module which is $1200 and that it may not fix the problem. Did the dealer tell you that it maybe electrical ?

No not electrical. I am picking up the new angle sensor from the dealer today to see if it will fix it. I also have been driving it like that for 2 years, its just that I want to sell it so I wanted to get evertying fixed. I have had many acuras, I am just very dissapointed in this one and reading the posts here, it seems the new RLs have the same problem. I will post any update here. thanks.
