holy fatty wheel and super wide offset!!! Stock offset is 55mm. My fronts stick out .5 to 1" with 40mm offsets off the widest point of the upper curve of the fender. From what I have read for those who have cometh before me with wheel advise on these forums is you will have to roll and pull your fenders when you drop on those wheels and required width tires. you will prob also need spacers with a 9" wide wheel.

On 18 x 7.5" x 40mm offset in the rears on heavy bumps or super big speed bumps with the two stock from wheels in the trunk (simulating luggage or a person in the back), I rub quick and slightly. just fair warning on your mod-job to get the fatties to work and not look like you are sledding through town on a "gocart"!

Cheers! I hope ya get it to work, otherwise the rims are Tits!

thanks man. yea after researching i know i def need a roll and pull. but thats not a big deal. but as for researching i researched alot and found people running wider and lower offsets then me and no spacers and only a roll. and not having any issues otherwise. but also 99blackhatch has his wheels they are 18x8.5 +30 so mine is only a .5 inch wider then his is at 18x9 +30. so shall see how much work i need done i wanna run a wide wheel and its probally going to stick out or poke a little bit im not to worried about it. my last car i ran a 18x9.5 +30 so wide wheels i know pretty good lol. this was my last car i sold it due to needing a bigger car for me my wife and son.

im still not sure im ether running a 18x9 +30 or a 18x8.5 +30 those are the 2 sizes i know for sure im going with just gotta decide and those wheels hopefully i can afford if not i will post up other options come time to actually buy i want those but price wise may be out of my range lol

You're going to be my silver copy cat. Sounds good.
Did you end up doing HIDs in the fogs?

Whoops. Black.

and i loved my old black one... I miss it a lot. Especially the black leather interior and the amount of flake in the black paint.

my old '96...
*** Fun fact... The whole front end was wrapped in black vinyl. ***

Your front rims look HUGE lol

The headlight upgrade in the front, is that a direct fit? I didn't think it was, but I have seen some 96's that look straight from the junkyard around here with the 99-04 headlights, so I was wondering.

It's a whole face lift. You'd have to swap out the hood, headlights, grill, front bumper, and fenders.

I was lucky enough to find the front end at a local junk yard for about $40 / piece. Well worth the upgrade. the headlights came from Ebay.japan for about $600+ and the front bumper was about $350 wit the fogs. and then the vinyl wrap was $150 for the front end.

the wheels were 19x8... too big for the car or the spokes were too skinny... they didn't work too well... after a month, i hated the wheels. Lol

Nice, i would have never known. I actually like the smaller 96 with the upgrades you did.

Speaking of junkyards, I wish I could find parts for an RL in junkyards around my way. They are really impossible to find around here. Everyone I have found has been completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) stripped.

Yeah, junkyard finds are very rare. Headlights are almost gone immediately along with the front bumper, grill, and tail lights.

and did you mean the smaller '96 headlights and grill look?

I meant the 96 with the newer headlights and grill, like you have in the picture above. I like that better.

Ok, i just wanted to clarify that the chassis are the same size, it's juts that Honda / Acura changed the front and rear ends on them cosmetically of course.

I thought the 96's were a bit smaller. My car parked next to one shows a dramatic difference. They seem so much lower and smaller next to my RL.

Guess I was wrong lol

Same here. If I could find the Indigo Blue with black leather or the White Pearl with black interior... I'd be all over it.

Tint the windows and a light tint on the windshield doesn't make that black leather so hot.

That's what i did.

I personally think the black leather looks better and shows less dirt and such over time.

I have 14% tint all around except on the front and it still gets blazing hot. Plastic has melted in my car due to the heat.
