OK so I am noticing that my brake light and VSA(?) light are now on. So I decide to go to Auto Zone for a free diagnostic. According to Auto Zone the code is P0106 dealing with Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)...but the brake and VSA lights are on? Does that make sense to anyone else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...and yes i made sure that my emergency brakes are not causing the brake light to be on. Anyone??

 

run an OBD-II scanner on your car.. you can also google the code

 

I think that is the kind of scanner they used at Auto Zone I just found it odd that the code read the problem to be something dealing with air flow...I had also googled the code prior to posting my inquiry here. I am just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience....

 

download the service manual from pdftown. it has all the codes there along with troubleshooting etc
