I just bought a trunk lid for my 97 RL. Has anyone ever replaced one? I see 2 bolts on each arm mounting the arms to the lid. I also have to replace the left rear taillight. Any advice there also?

Taillights are pretty easy, they are held in with four 8mm nuts then pull straight out. Remove the carpet-like material away from the taillight area to get to them. I think there's a harness connector for the lights. For the trunk lid if it were me I'd have the lid open and have someone hold it while I unbolted/bolted the trunk. Could even leave the bolts slightly loose and close it with someone in the trunk who can tighten once aligned properly.
