Recommend me Brake Pads!!!

Its that time again to replace my brake pads.

Im kinda on a budget so no crazy set-ups.
This car is a daily driver and sees occasional time on scenic mountain roads.

my rear set should still be good but if i can get a good deal on all 4 sets then i might just do it, but i mainly just need the front set.

I was thinking about Hawk HPS, HP plus, or Ceramics or EBC red or greens in the performance department and Akebono ProAct, Bendix CQ or CT, and what i have on now, ATEs OE pads which are decent but do show signs of fade and heat soak after long periods of stop and go driving and they leave alot of dust on my wheels(this isnt so much an issue)...

I need something that has good bite, wont tear up my rotor, isnt too loud, and wont fade or heat soak

I find EBC's dust excessively. They bite very well thoug. The greens dust like crazy and the reds dust less, but still more than some off the shelf ceramics.

be weary of to harsh a pad though. They'll cut your rotor life short.

if you could find AEM aka Nissin I would go with those.

oh I have EBC reds on my RL, AEM on wifes Accord, and KVR carbon kevlar on my other Accord.

if the car is your dd, i'll stick to oem pads. they're quiet, very little dust, and perform just as well as any high performance aftermarket pads that cost 2x as much. besides, oem pads is easier on your rotors, ensuring longer rotor life compared to some of the harsher pads. but if you're for sure going aftermarket, don't get any of the cheap autozone or advanceauto pads; they're crap!

@old hatch - ive had the aem/nissin pads on my civic before and i liked them, oem feel for everyday but slightly better than stock bite and considering the road i put them to the test on they have pretty good fade resistance, but that was a much much lighter car, whats your experience with these?

@silver3.5 - oem pads would do the job if i just did your average daily driving, but i drive our local mountain roads for relaxation and recreation (mostly for dragging up my friends telescope and doing some amateur astronomy, cruising with my lady, or watching the kids try to do their best impression of takumi the tofu boy-see initial d lolz)

as it is i have ATE premium one oe replacement brake pads and they are average at best, they heat soak and fade even in heavy stop and go traffic, although i must admit they are ok in the wet although not confidence inspiring...
