Possible Future Homelink Project

Hi all,

So, as you may know, some of the earlier first generation RLs have no home link garage door opener system.

I was just wondering, if by any chance, any of you had any information about the system such as wiring diagrams, parts, etc.

I was thinking about trying to install the visor with the buttons on it into my vehicle. But, I don't know if the system attaches to the cars computer or not.

It's funny, slowly but surely, it seems as if I'm changing one part at a time to make a newer and newer car. I guess I drive a '98, '99, '02 RL now. ha!

Anyway, any input is quite appreciated.

I checked one out at the junkyard, different color unfortunately, but the whole system is in the visor, so you have the visor, you have home link. That's it, if anyone wanted to know.

I'll be doing that sometime this summer.

That is correct.

Accords and TL's of around the same years usually have a panel as well. Sometimes in the sunglass holder map light area.
