Pics of my HU and new Subwoofer, any suggestions

Ok so I just replaced my old 97 Acura RL factory stereo with the Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD
<img src=” ”>

and just bought a Pioneer TS-W3002D4 Champion Series Pro 12" Subwoofer.

What AMP do you guys recommend me get for this sub?

Sub Details:

  • 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils
  • IMPP cones reinforced with interlaced basalt and carbon fibers
  • 3-layer urethane and fiber-woven radial surrounds
  • Air Suspension Control System eliminates traditional spider structure
  • die-cast aluminum basket
  • power range: 100-1,000 watts RMS (500 watts RMS per coil)
  • peak power handling: 3,500 watts
  • frequency response: 20-150 Hz
  • sensitivity: 90 dB

NICE! Did you make the dash kit yourself? As for the amp i don't know man, sound system is on the bottom of my list lol. For now, i'm going with coilover, lip kit, wheels, sound system.

Actually we just cut a hole in the original dash and modified the backing to stabilize the radio and then inserted the radio with the black outside trim. becasue the radio face projects outward it can't be flush with the dash.

That sub looks massive.

I used to run MTX Class D amps and I loved them. Great low bass, they worked great with my 15's.

Haven't had a stereo for a while now...miss the music, not the rattles.

Kicker class D amps as well as JL Audio class D work very well. They are very power efficient and do not have the heat issues.

Including Diamond d9 audio phoenix gold and kicker all day, as for amp .. i think a rockford fosgate punch amp would work great with that sub.. or if you want a little more quality go with orion or phoenix gold route 66 amps
