Oxygen sensors

About a month and a half ago I swapped out my oxygen sensors due to the code reading I got for the the front 2. I went ahead and changed all 3 to be sure, but I purchased the universal type and not the specific OE type that were much more expensive. Which leads me to ask is this the reason I am still getting an error code for the sensor on the left bank. Any answers would greatly appreciated!

I had no idea there were "universal" o2 sensors.

That might have something to do with it still reading a code..

Im sorry what I meant by the universal they were offering the the o2 sensor without the plug n play harness, so I had to splice the new sensors into the old harnesses. Now they did offer the exact replacement o2 sensor that already had a new harness on it, it just cost between 100 and 120 per sensor.
