New to Acura and the forum

Hello everyone! I have just purchased my very first Acura. It is a 1996 3.5RL. I am coming out of the Volvo camp. Had a 1994 Volvo 850 Turbo that I blew up after a failed attempt with the timing belt. Up until this point I had owned quite a few Volvo's and one Saab. So far I really like the RL but am also having a problem with the suspension. When driving the steering wheel will go back and forth on it's own. If anyone could shed some light as to what suspension component is causing this. Maybe sway bar link ends or bushings? Ball joints? Any suggestions. Haven't had the wheels off yet but just want to get some advice as I am new to this car. The Volvo was pretty simple to work on except for the timing belt :/ but this Acura seems a bit more technical and involved in many ways. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

I dont think its your sway bar end link...one of mine has been busted for months and i see no difference in the driving. I can't tell you what it is but you can probably rule out those.

Thanks very much for your reply AcuraGirl420. Glad I can rule that out at least. I have researched and found that it could be the steering rack. Not really sure yet.
