Need Help on O2 Sensor 99 RL
Check engine light is on, NAPA said it was O2 sensor beyond the Catalytic Converter. Tonight Autozone read it and it said Bank 1 Sensor 2. They had a universal drawing that would put it IN FRONT of the Catalytic Converter. Which is it? Can I get to it to replace it? Should I buy an OEM version with the connector already on it (239 at Autozone) or a universal one that I wire the connector for (79 at Autozone). Thanks.

I just had the o2 code. Bank 2 sensor 1. Which is the passenger side at the top. i got mine from www.oxygensensor.com

take it to the dealer! there's a 150k mile (or so) warranty on emissions and check engine, O2 sensor stuff. bought a 97 about 3 months back, 87k miles, same thing - O2 sensor errors, check engine, etc - dealer fixed all for free.
