So I have had this problem for almost a year already, but I just recently found out about this forum.

I had a problem with the hard drive of the navigation system of my Acura 1999 3.5 RL. I bought a new hard drive online, some custom made one by someone who I guess had the data for the navigation system. It worked fine but then I started having battery problems. So of course when I replaced my battery everything had reset. So now the NS ask for a four digit code, which I have from calling up Acura and also from finding it on the side of my glove box on a sticker. I would enter the code and it would be incorrect all the time. Any ideas on what I can do ?

 

Have you tried to call the place you bought it from? Give Acura another try, say you entered the code but it keeps getting an error and see what they are going to response.

if you bought a replacement drive your old code no longer works. you need to get the serial number off the new drive i believe.
