Gotta surf the net man!im a newbie, so search words like honda legend acurarl ka9 , will help.

From my research, tsx 1st gen coilovers by tein , acura legend coilovers with fork, and maybe honda accord will work.
Body kit, good luck.
Best to leave it stock, tinted out, with a super gloss detail. Lowered on 20s is going hard, maybe overkill. Better to invest in updated navigation and blootooth hookup.side window vents are avaliable, but aftermarket sucks for the rl.

If you don't know how to search I would recommend you don't waste your time with the modding you RL. Modding takes a lot of researching.

I did search as anyone who has searched I know about the lack of aftermarket parts for this car is guess I was hoping for a sense of community that people look for in places like this and maybe get lucky with info or something that's not on the network

So you assumed that on the Internet (yes that's where we are here) there would be information that you couldn't find when searching on the Internet...?

Searching all of Acurazine.com here are the results for "VIP RL": https://www.google.com/search?q=site...hrome&ie=UTF-8

No, I thought by conversating with people on this forum I could find new info that's up to date instead of continuing to read posts from 5-10 yrs ago.

1. Conversating is not a real word.

2. So again, you haven't even looked at google. You give zero indication as to what you're looking for, besides "I want VIP". Coil overs haven't changed in the last ten years. Neither have rain visors, body kits or control arms.

I mean, you can think we are all assholes, or you can admit you took the lazy route, didn't spend a second looking and wanted to get spoon fed the answers you're looking for.

I did look, I started this to get info that I couldn't find.

How he is unable to find what he's looking for is beyond me. There's a number of VIPd RLs on acurazine. Just read their threads. Ask questions. Even if the thread is 10 years old, it's not like there is new suspensions coming out for that platform every year. FFS...

the challenge to have that unique ride hooked up that no one else around you has is much more rewarding than a car that's easy to mod and find parts for.

joseph, don't give up, shoot me a pm when your really in a crunch, ill be able to help you.

Thanks, sure will. I was thinking about blending my front bumper with a bumper from a lexus ls400 or something with similar lines as my rl.

There is a sticky right above this thread that I put together with suspension info. Nothing has changed.

Wheels are like anything else. Yeah you can make anything fit with enough money, question is what are you trying to do?

Body kits will be very hard unless you go custom or import from Japan. I think xenon still makes theirs for the 96-98.

Suspension arms will be custom. Only thing available are rear camber arms and front camber joints.

VIP means slightly different things to different people. It might mean 12 inch wide rims on 15 offset with stupid camber to some while it may not to others.

I read the sticky it was very helpful, thanks. I'm going to Frankenstein something together using a body or lip kit off another Car thats going to take some time experimenting. As of now I have the rear control arms, front camber bushings and wheels. The coilovers should be here this weekend.

20x9.25 front<br/>20x10.25 rear

I like seeing people still spending money on their RL. It makes me feel less bad about wanting to spend money on mine. Its just too much money for all the stuff i want to do, i dont know if it would make sense. But whenever i see someone else babying it i get the itch

I think it would look better if rear wheel had natural camber.

excessive camber is EXCESSIVE!
but you're probably an excessive man!
go ahead and raise that pinky finger, boo!

We all get that itch when we see things we want to do to our car.

All the fun is in doing it yourself I'm sure you can come up with something as nice if not better.
