Can some help me with finding out what type of light bulbs go in the instrument cluster in my gear shift, also if there is a link with this out here point me to it please. Thanks in advance for your help.

The bulb is a type 74 wedge base. To replace it, pull the shifter bezel up with your fingers. The bulb base pulls straight out of the housing. The bulb pulls straight out of the base but it's very small and can be hard to get a grip. The are a variety of LEDs that can replace it and you can change colors.

Yep, VERY easy to do.

I was wrong about pulling the bulb base straight out of the housing. Rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise.
