Hi all,

I am planning on replacing my brake pads shortly. I have a pair of jack stands but I do not have a floor jack. I will use the jack from acura to raise the car, but I don't know where to place the jack stand, since the jack point is been used by the jack. Any suggestions where to place the jack stand? Pictures will be appreciated.

 

If you're doing the fronts, just jack it up using the front jack point. I would assume this would get it high enough to put the stands on the sides but I'm not sure. I usually use the occasion of DIY instead of having someone do it to get a new tool of some sort. I would recommend investing in a floor jack. It will save a lot of hassle down the road. Good luck.
