Welcome to the RL family! You will soon find out how well this RL is made compared to other honda products.....If anyone is looking for an RL I personally would seek an 04 as they got all the goodies before shutting down production......

 

I was looking for an '04 originally, but the '02 became available at basically HALF the price

I'll do a conversion to the '04 bit by bit.

 

Hello Ken. I have an 02 as well, and i've been wanting to get the tail lights off the 04. The clear turn signal lights make the rear look alot cleaner. Especially since mine is black. I wish I could get the dash out of an 04 because I like the blue lumination instead of the "off white" of mine. But, I've had some hard time finding good deals on parts. Keep me in the loop if you find any good deals on any parts. Thanks

Here in Portland there is a parts warehouse dedicated to Hondas and Acuras. So I'll be working with them if possible. Otherwise, eBay

I have taken ownership of the car as of yesterday. I REALLY like this RL. Its basically brand new. Not a single scratch! I've ordered the chrome shift gate as well as a 2004 RL shift knob to go with the interior wood scheme.

 

I'm with you guys. I also have a black 02 RL with about 64k miles on it. Great condition too, but love the look of the 04 style changes. If you all know of any part sites that sell things like brake lights or dash gauges. Definitely not in the market to trade up to a 2004 when I have an 02.

Ken - I am having the darndest time finding stuff. I never really thought about the shift plate till you mentioned it, and after thinking about it. That wouldn't be a bad idea either. Any who's anyone that has any info please let me know. I'm on the look out for the shift plate, tail lights, dash and navi.
