HOW to remove the wood trim????
Removing trim
You will probably find two screws in one of two places:
1) First you pull up the trim piece that surrounds the shifter, etc. Look to see if there is a bar behind the ashtray with two screws in it. If so, remove these and the trim that you are trying to remove should come up fairly easily from the bottom, or,
2) There are two pieces of carpet-covered plastic that will need to be removed. Each are high and on the inside portion of the footwell on each side of the console area. Once these are removed, there will be a screw on each side of the console (set pretty far in) that you will need to remove. Once these are removed, you should be able to pull the trim out, no problem.
Hope this helps,
FFD
