How to clear ABS code

Hi all,
I had a 1-7 code for my 99 RL. The code was for left rear speed sensor. It was the only code showing. I bought the part and took it to an independant repair shop. After the installation the ABS light is still on. When I pull the code again, it still shows 1-7. I have disconnected the battery for one hour and also removed fuse #15 under the dash board for 5 min with no success. Does anyone have any idea what I should do next. Thanks.

I think u have to clear it through the OBD port. Behind the ash tray. But only certain scan tools can do this. Some parts houses, can clear it.

I am having the same issue. I've been searching but it seems that no one has a definite answer as to how to clear the code.
