Hard to get parts for this car
About a year ago i got side swiped, so i brought my car to a local body shop who went ahead and fixed the damage. i got my car a week later, after driving trying to adjust my seats and mirrors they didn't work, so i brought it back to them telling them that something wrong. what happen they swapped my door with a earlier model door and didn't bother checking the wire harness were the same so they ended up replacing the harness with the original one while it sat out doors for days, getting water in the memory seat cpu. over time it started acting up, first the memory seats, then the side mirrors. at first i thought it had something to do with the remote starter i put in, but it wasn't. 3 weeks ago my car caught on fire passenger side melted my heater box luckily i stopped it in time. so I'm fixing it, hard to find parts for this car, but after a couple weeks digging i found some in different locations. if i went through acura i would be spending almost 3 grand in parts, i ended up paying 450, 300 for a door that i don't need but they won't sell the wire harness solo and 150 for a heater box , cabin air filter, and heater wire harness. hopefully i'll be good for it
Sorry to hear about everything your car's been through. Did the body shop ever put a new wiring harness back in your car so the seats and mirrors would work?
Here's a good source for OEM parts new for decent prices: acuraOEMparts.com. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but I use them a lot and they are selling the passenger's side front door wiring harness for $100
