just bought acura rl 2001 and driver side (inside) door opener broken i want to change with rear door any advice how to change it (some picture will be very helpfull). Thank you, every1.

 

To start, there are 4 screws in the door panel that need to be removed.
There are 2 behind the inside door release, 1 below the armrest, and 1 on the outter edge.

I do believe there are a number of white panel clips that line and hold the door panel to the door frame. Use care when removing these, they break easily.

Once all screws and panel clips are removed the panel should lift up and out some enough for you to get to the inside of the door opener.

Keep in mind there are a number of wire harnesses that are connected to the panel ( my advice dont bother them if you dont need to go any further).

I dont have any pics, but I have had to remove my panels a number of due to issues with my window regulator( driver and rear driver side)
