CV's

My CV boots have riped and the grease is flying out. There are gobs of it on my spalsh guard underneath. My car has 143,000 miles roughly so i kinda figured id have to replace a few things. I was wondering if any one else has ever done this themselves. Im not a mechanic but im pretty confident, and recently replaced a transfer case on a jeep. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
