The locking tab on my cupholder cover is broken off so it always stays open. has anyone repaired or replaced their cover?

For anyone that has, what did you do to fix it, and what did it set you back $$ wise?

Just a follow up on the broken cup holder cover....

I was able to fix it using a magnet and a washer. I super glued the washer to the lid so it wouldnt get knocked off, and found a pack of small rare earth magnets from radio shack and glued them to the console right at the latch assembly.

works like a charm, and after coloring them with black sharpie, you really can't see them. EZ fix for $2.95

 

I had the same problem on my 05. I just took it in to the dealer and he replaced the lid free of charge.( This was only about a month ago). I think there is a common fault with this holder.
